I do like that some of the supporting characters got a bit more air time. Still it was fun when you get past the constant, "it's my fault" language. I wish the author had spent less time having Elena seek absolution from absolutely everyone and more time developing a streamlined story. I felt like I was listening to William Shatner a few too many times because of her cadence but otherwise, I thought she brought the characters to life and gave them each a personality rather well.
